Aurum

A personal desktop dashboard for Windows, built and used by one person.

What it does

Aurum is a full-screen dashboard that opens with a keyboard shortcut and shows, at a glance:

• the time, date and local weather
• world news headlines and a stock watchlist
• unread email from the owner's Gmail inbox
• upcoming events from the owner's Google Calendar
• Slack messages and forwarded phone notifications
• computer vitals, a workout plan and personal projects

Google data

Aurum asks for read-only access to Gmail and Google Calendar so it can list the inbox and upcoming events on the dashboard. It cannot send, delete or change email or events. Everything runs on the owner's own computer; there is no Aurum server.

Read the privacy policy for the details.

Availability

Aurum is a private tool. It is not offered to the public and has no sign-up.
